Artist: Richard Arthur | View all images by this person
Classically trained and educated. Studied at Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Fullerton College, Independent study with Vittorio Riu and Francis Quirk of Lehigh University. First exhibited at International Gallery in Houston, Texas in 1974. Worked out of studio in Houston with several One Man, Two Man and Group exhibitions. Became master jewelry designer-maker in New Orleans. Evacuated to Atlanta, Georgia area in 2005. Awarded Emergency Grant from The Gottlieb Foundation in 2008. Current focus is sculpture. Preparing volume of poetry and essays to be called re:Visions
